Annual Conference

SOUL 2025 Conference

 

SOUL 2025 was held on 16-17 October 2025 at The University Club of Western Australia. There were 17 sessions including plenaries and many concurrent sessions split into 2 streams.  The Keynote was delivered by International Criminal and Human Rights Lawyer, Rabia Siddique.


The SOUL 2025 Conference Dinner was held in Hackett Hall at WA Museum Boola Bardipat. Welcome drinks and canapes were held in the WA Museum where delegates had the opportunity to view the Terracotta Warriors. The conference closed with drinks at The University Club of Western Australia.

SOUL has selected some centrally located hotels and one that is a short walk from the Conference venue and has secured a preferential room rate at them for a limited number of rooms.  Accommodation may be booked as part of the conference registration process and more details are available here. The earlier you register, the better the chance of a reserving a room at this less expensive rate at the hotel of your choice.
