The GBV Code: post-implementation in practice

The objectives of the Gender-based Violence Code are clear, but its practical implementation raises a range of complex questions for universities, from institution-wide policy and governance impacts through to the day-to-day work of in-house legal teams.

In this webinar the MinterEllison team will discuss the issues and challenges we are seeing and helping universities to navigate, including governance, complaints handling, contracting and risk management.

The session will build on MinterEllison's presentation at the 2025 SOUL Conference and is designed to address key issues faced by the sector post 1 January 2026, as well as practical queries SOUL members have been raising in the member forum.
